Standards We Follow
This website has been developed and tested to target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard most often referenced by U.S. courts in cases involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and is widely recognized as the benchmark for accessible web design.
Per our internal Accessibility Operating Standard, this is a Tier 1 build — a custom Next.js application on Vercel — which means we can target WCAG 2.1 AA with no third-party widget exceptions.
- Perceivable — All content and interface components are presented in ways users can perceive, regardless of sensory ability.
- Operable — All functionality is accessible via keyboard and assistive technology — not only a mouse.
- Understandable — Content and navigation are clear, consistent, and predictable.
- Robust — Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers.
Measures Taken

- Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images
- Proper semantic heading structure (H1 → H3) on every page
- Form fields with programmatic labels for assistive technology
- Skip-navigation link to bypass repetitive navigation
- ARIA landmark regions (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo)
- Visible, on-brand keyboard focus indicators
- Auto-scrolling content respects prefers-reduced-motion
- Descriptive, context-specific anchor text on all links
- Color contrast verified to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA minimums
- Page language declared for correct screen reader pronunciation
- Automated accessibility audits (axe-core) run against every page
- Manual keyboard-only and screen-reader testing on key flows
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Automated tools verify a meaningful portion — but not the entirety — of WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We treat strong scores as a foundation rather than a finish line and pair them with manual testing across the following.
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (Mac and iOS)
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- High contrast display modes
- System-level reduced motion settings (prefers-reduced-motion)
- Voice control software
Conformance Posture
No tool, audit, or statement makes a website “ADA compliant” in a legally bulletproof sense. What exists is conformance to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, documentation of the work, honest disclosure of limitations, and a real response path for user feedback.
This site is built and maintained to target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. We re-audit quarterly and update this statement to reflect the current build.
Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is not a one-time project.
- Re-auditing with WAVE and Lighthouse quarterly or whenever significant content changes
- Reviewing all new content, page additions, and third-party integrations before publishing
- Maintaining dated records of all accessibility audits as compliance documentation
- Training team members responsible for content creation on WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
- Responding to all user-reported accessibility issues within 2 business days
